Google Doc Viewer and SLA Virtual Migration Slides

Google Doc Viewer and SLA Virtual Migration Slides by David Whelan I have been testing out embedding presentation slide decks, nearly exclusively Microsoft Powerpoint files, in a format that can be played within the Web browser. I’ve hosted some on and saved others as Flash using iSpring Free but neither has been ideal. My interest was piqued when I saw the Google Doc viewer that enables you to embed PDF, Microsoft Powerpoint, and other documents in your Web site, eliminating an external viewer.

Unfortunately, if the presentation file is more than 2 MB, the Google viewer will not display the embedded file.  I’m testing it out with a PDF from my own server.

Now if I could just get my changes to my Plone HTML filters to stick, so that I can use the style tag to make the viewer larger!
