Honor without Measure

I am honored to be a part of the inaugural Fastcase 50, a collection of today’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders in the law.  It’s hard to know what to say, particularly when you see who the other 49 people are.  Many of them are friends and colleagues as well as others for whom I have a great deal of respect.

When you don’t know what to say, it’s usually a good rule to just be quiet.  So I will, but as humbly as I possibly can.

I improve information access and lead information teams. My books on finding information and managing it and practicing law using cloud computing reflect my interest in information management, technology, law practice, and legal research. I've been a library director in Canada and the US, as well as directing the American Bar Association's Legal Technology Resource Center. I speak and write frequently on information, technology, law library, and law practice issues.
