We are coming to the end of the vegetable season in our garden. Cherry tomatoes, peas, and cucumbers are starting to wane, although we are still picking some. We had some lovely sweet corn at the start of August. Now, as autumn comes, the remaining crops are potatoes (loads of them) and pumpkins. I also put some sunflowers in, just for the color. This morning, the pumpkin flowers were wide open and the sunflowers were getting ready for the warmth of the sun to touch them.
