Forget Me Not

These flowers often remind of the song Great Big Sea sings, Graceful and Charming.  The garlic mustard has been shooting up all over the place with its small white flowers and I hadn’t noticed these blue wildflowers until I was walking home today.  The forget-me-not ( Myosotis ) has five blue petals but I hadn’t realized that its center could be either yellow or white.  They are growing very close to the river’s edge, so I had to drop down off the path to see them up close.
